People who need a dysphagia diet may find it difficult to eat all the food they need for a number of reasons, including loss of appetite. However, it is important to make sure that everybody eats and drinks enough every day to get the nutrients we need and help prevent unnecessary weight loss. If you are concerned about the food and fluid intake of yourself, or the person you care for, speak to your Health Care Professional for further advice and support.
